Host a Screening

We are taking a partner-driven approach to getting our films out into the world where we are
working with organizations and programs that share an interest in the core issues of our film.

How: One of the ways that we are working with partners is by doing virtual events. This is an easy and effective way to share our film with your network and add a live program or Q&A experience with the people of your choice.

How is this done? There are a number of ways we can do virtual events. I am
suggesting a couple and would like to talk further with you.

  • This can be a Fundraising event where tickets are sold and/or donations requested. Other partners see it as a way to complement their educational and outreach work.
  • It can be used for recruitment and raise awareness. The possibilities are endless.

What does this look like? This would be on a secure platform where the film can be optimally screened. You can even play a 30- 60 second promo film about your organization before the showing of IN HER SHOES.

Time: This event can be a one- time showing on a specific date or over a couple of days. If you have multiple chapters, each chapter could have their own showing designed to fit their needs.

Administrative Work: This platform is set up to do all the administrative work that includes ticket sales, donations etc.

Costs: There are fees attached to this that we can discuss that includes a film license fee and platform fees. We can work out a plan to fit your budget.

Your obligation: Sending out 2 to 3 stand-alone emails to your audience. We can supply pictures and art work for the film.

Past Virtual showings: Unlocking Doors Re-entry program had a continuing education seminar. The film was a the centerpiece for this event. They used the film’s trailer to promote the seminar. They were expecting 200 people to sign up. Over 900 people did.

This is a win-win opportunity. I would like to discuss this in more detail with you.

Other ways to screen the film. We are open to showing the film to a live audience. If you want to do a hybrid event, we can do that to.
