What an impactful showing last night. Maryellen Mastrorilli, BU professor, stated tonight’s program changed lives. Lynn and Joli shared their stories of being incarcerated and how education changed their lives. They talked about how IN HER SHOES put a human face on women in prison and brought out the challenges they face. There was a discussion on how so many women in prison have been sexually abused and that this was a big factor in their lives. So many questions were raised. Awareness is what gets to the next step to add more resources to help incarcerated women.
